ION & DM5 Membrane buttons

Ive seen an ION with the membrane button pad off a DM5. Can anyone tell me how easy this is to do and how on earth you adapt everything?

I think it allready uses a three/four pin conenctor for the on off button? (correct me if wrong), so you can just slot it in instead. Im not completely sure though... You can see on the link posted above, i think its the 21th picture down (lol) you can see a 4 pin connector? I think that what it connects to.

It's really simple to do, it took about 10-15 mins from start to finish on my (now sold) Ion.

You need to tack two wires onto the solder on either side of the board where the on/off switch is. From there you need to route those wires down into the frame and insert one wire in the top of the membrane connector, and the other into the middle connector. Job Done.

You could also wire up LEDs like the walkthrough, but I never bothered.

hi im not to sure about this so im going to ask y is there 3 leds???? cause there is only 2 on the gun?

the extra 1 that is added wat is that 1 for???

Also how would i go about geting a membrane pad in uk?? and 1 no any shops???

I was being rele stupid wen i wrote 1st bit i forgot that there is 2 leds under grip and not 1
