Ion Crono inconsistancy

Recently using my gun at the crono and getting some really big inconsistency , say 250 , then 180 , 220.

Paint was a good match and psi in is set at like 120-130 i think

I was having problems with my gun ages ago and i thought it was the solenoid, but in the end it got sorted.

Would this problem now signify a solenoid problem?

Any help appreciated.

have you clean and relubed your inline regulator. you will find that hey might be mingin'
also cheack about cleaning and relubing your bolt.

indeed in can. some very weird stuff can happen when the 9v is low

True true, My friends was shooting a tight 260 and suddenly it jumped to 390!

first thing to check on an ion if its having problems is the battery

my advice use duracell plus or energizer's

if your gun is inconsistant above more than say 10-20fps then its can be 1 or more of 4 things

1 - paint bore to barrell match

2 - low battery

3 - You've been fiddling with the settings and somehow messed with the dwell

4 - Reg needs cleaning


ive only ever had 1 problem with my ion in the 7 months ive had it........

battery needs changing!

and it hasnt even been serviced once or the bolt cleaned or reg cleaned or anything done to it in that time!

7 months is a long time without lube/service.

i make sure my lads ION is thoroughly cleaned and lubed within a few days after his had a good day of ballin.

what upgrades have you got? new bolt or qev at all being the main 2

Well i just got a 360 QEV through today which im gonna put it at some point later. Apart from that its got a dm5 reg on it...only real things that would apply.
