can the ion use CO2? if so, is the performance affected by using CO2 instead of air?

The ION also doesn't have an LPR so any pressure spikes caused by the co2 wouldn't be good. I once froze a wrath to my hand and it wasn't nice, my understanding off it is an ION will only work on air.

The ION has a regulator, it runs at around 160-180PSI.

Regardless, for the price of a HPA tank you may aswell get HPA.

Its not exactly your regular solenoid in an ion is it, it has much bigger more durable orings, i recon it would prolly run co2 fine so long as your playing recball and dont shoot too much paint. new spool orings dont cost much either and i think are pretty easy to replace anyway.

it works only with non liquid c02. But i would use air just to be safe.
