Well done sherlock and i didnt say woodsball didnt allow it but with mainly punters playing and a few walk-ons and training why would they buy orange ion body kits just for this are you all made of money? is 1 not enough so far i have not seen orange playing gear or anything like that but have seen orange bodykits which is what made me say they may not make money if no one brought it so it would be kinda pointless.Just cos a paintball equipment manufacturer sells it doesnt make it legal to use in a tourney. Beleive it or not, not all paintball played is sup'air, and woodsball is not always about looking like an extra from Saving Ryan's Privates.
I'm no expert on tourney rules, but if they say no orange or pink kit cos of paint colours, then I would expect that to extend to your marker cos if that is tagged then your still out.
If I'm correct in what you are trying to say, your post hasnt expressed a good understanding of the big wild world of walk-on paintball fatrix. Plenty of players go to walk-ons who don't play tourneys and decide to have the 'tourney' look rather than the 'mil-sim' look, and because it aint tournament rules which might restrict certain colours, they can freely choose what colour to trick their marker up with or what colours they want to wear. Hence their is indeed a good market for items which are perhaps not legal in tourney play, such as orange body kits.Well done sherlock and i didnt say woodsball didnt allow it but with mainly punters playing and a few walk-ons and training why would they buy orange ion body kits just for this are you all made of money? is 1 not enough
I didn't say you were wrong, but your posts seems to narrow the world of paintball purely into the tournament bracket and discounted the many players who attend walk-ons. Their is clearly a bigger picture and therefore a market for non-tournament-legal items.Next time if someones wrong you dont have to be sarcastic about it a friendly correction wouldn't have gone a miss...
