ion board problems

Hi There

im having problem with my board shorting out on the frame. The marker won't switch on sometimes when its all together but with the board removed the board powers up fine. any suggestions on stopping the board shorting out?

Its probably shorting through the frame.
The Ion frames are unfortunately made very poorly and sometimes you just get a bad one.

All I can suggest is try to get another frame. Preferably aftermarket and avoid ones which have had the powder coat stripped off...

you could try wrapping the board with insulation tape. you can get from most diy or car spares shops.
