You could always solder a new battery connector on.
They are pretty cheap, if you have a Maplin near you, you can pick them up for under 50p.
If your willing to post it to someone on the forum then there are a few people with the skills, myself included, that could sort it for you.

havent they got a resistore on them where the battery conects because my wire came off ,and when i lifted the black plastic cover to solder the wire back on i found there was a little chip of some sort i can only think its a ristor or it alows the bored to work as a AC curant i dont no but thought id mention it

O ok i see what you ment . ya he might aswell just solder it back on thats all i did and it works just as good but better lol
