ion and maxflow

if i swop my ion reg for a tru grip and a max flow will that be a better set up to the standard ion reg.plus will it still work
i am trying to get as much of the weight to the bottle as it is my 12 year olds gun

surely your just adding lots of unesscesary wieght, you could try finding an adjustable reg that doesnt take upo the world like maxflo's do...like a nitroduck or evil scion, set that to output at whatever input an ion needs and put it through a gas through, pretty sure that would work...hmm

the max flow is low pressure off my voodoo impulse so is the through grip 4500 kevlar bottle .now he has ion reg 3000 steel bottle
hope the max flow would give a better weight centre of balance

unless its adjustable you will have to keep the reg on the ion. input is around 200psi i think.

LP outputs at around 400-450psi

i would agree with balf, unless u have an extemely low output reg having a gas thru grip on an ion as a baaad idea, anything over about 210 psi will blow the hoses and probably do your solinoid in aswell, keep the reg on it wont make that much difference

my voodoo is set at 120 psi the max flow will go from 0 to 220psi

in that case, no worries, just set the input so the ion runs smooth, and bam! away you go.

have fun with that. if you need nore weight balancing, if its just woods, tape batteries to your kids hopper or wherever it needs to be balanced..and woosh spare batts if anything goes down
