Ion air settings? HP/LP?

Just want to get a confirmation on this, as i've heard several people saying the ion woirks on low and high pressure and that on high pressure that the reg should be truned down alot. If it doesnt make any difference to what the ion can run on which would prove better for it/me in the long run.

Ive just got fed of of borrowing tanks and about to get my own...finally having cash that is...

work fine on both, tho' an HP tank output will give you a better (or at least more consistant) recharge rate [this comes from smartparts themselves].

to be honest i have run mine on HP and my mate on LP and they do make a bit of a difference, but only really when ramping to the hilt.

pressure wise the marker will still operate within the 120-180psi range either way, tho' as you say the difference in the inline vert reg is vast. HP = mostly screwed out (down), LP = mostly in (up) ..... if i remember right.

on a side note: the best thing i ever did to my ion was ditch most of the stock internals and get the full epiphany upgrade - far better recharge rate and no appreciable drop off when its running well.

Just buy a 1.1L tank @ 4500psi with a HP reg on it. Once you've chrono'd for the first time it don't make any difference. I've never had drop off, and it has always done me fine.
