I have a 360 qev that started leaking from the exhaust hole/port when i aired up my ion. Does this mean that it is broken or does it just need cleaning or something? and if so how?

I have heard it mentioned that you can disassemble the QEV to clean it, but if this is true and how you do it I can't help you with....
you can take them appart and clean them but it may not help this problem,this has happend to me it worked fine for about 4 months then was just going through my modes firing my marker and it just started leaking from the exhaust port.Stripped and cleaned it but still leaked ive just taken it off now carnt be botherd with them,been through 2 of them in a year and one clippard one which didnt last a day i just dont have any luck with them.

Smart Parts qev's are known to be useless. I got my Ion when there was no 360 qev available and got an Eclipse one. (You have to cut the body to make it fit) Never had any problems with it.
Some Qev's can be taken appart. The only one I have stripped is an Ego Qev. You also ruin the nice red anno in the process!
