well I am in deep lust with the proteus but only for the super cool colour scheme would have them for ornemental use but don't like JTs to wear not enough eyelash room.

Try both on, see which fits your noggin better. I like the way the DYE's look better but they're both Fugly it's the lesser of 2 uglies.
JT has been around for what seems like forever.
DYE has a solid reputation of quality.
Like I said pick the one that protects your head the best and is most comfortable.

I thought the DYE's were even closer to ones face than the JTs ...

I own the proteus and they are awesome. nice airflow and snug to the face they arent all big and bulky.
I was going to check out the Dye's but some of the guys on here said that they were bulky and didnt cover the back of their ears.
We are supposed to get some at the shop i work at in the next few weeks so i will let you guys know
