Hi all,

I have an invert mini that was shooting fine on a walk out. Not sure what happened but it stopped working and the air was leaking... A player said to change all the O rings and re-lube up. I did this tested the gun with eyes off, no air and I can hear the clicking. As soon as I attached my air tank or any air tank, a lound squeek sound is produced.. Any help...?

The air is from the asa now, orignally not too sure however I have losen the back velocity bolt so air can pass. Is there any other possibilty apart from the back bolt that will cause such a sound when connecting the air tank to the marker..?

May sound like the simplest solution, but did you change the tank o-ring yet ?

I just saw you tried other tanks... hmm.

I think I had this with mine once, the reg just needs to settle if the air is coming out of the vent from the ASA. Try giving the reg adjustment screw 1/4 turn one way and exactly 1/4 back the other, first with no air then with air but turn the reg down first and then back up to 200psi.

Is lube on a tank o-ring an absolute no-no ?

I would have thought as long as it stays that side of the fill nipple, it'd be okay ?

But then I suppose as tank o-rings are ten-a-penny pretty much pointless trying to extend the life of one... I conceed in the favour of common sense and more importantly, safety.

I've put a spot on my tank thread though to help with airing up before I got my on/off...

putting a bit of lube on the tank o ring is fine theres not enough pressure (800psi max) for it to combust! its only when you stick oil into the fill nipple.... then it becomes dangerous due to extreme pressure (3000-4500psi)
