Maybe need a new board. We had some of the first minis, and played in all kinds of weather. We then played Campaign, the year Rheanna had that umbrella number 1 single, the year we had a monsoon at Campaign.

We got water in the gun, and most boards were fried.

I believe they coat their boards with something these days making them more resistant to water. Might need a new board mate.

Could try taking everything apart and putting it in the airing cupboard, or a bowl of uncooked rice. Try dry it all out a few days and try again?

It seems to have gotten worse when i dried it out, and its one of the original mini's so it has no coating or water resistance, I thought it might have been the power button which was broken.

Also, where would be the best place to buy a stock board from?

You will need to contact KEE, or if you ask nicely, maybe ask LiPS or Just Paintball (or any of the KEE stockists) if they can get one in for you.

By the way, Im not saying your board IS fried. Obviously, Im not with your gun. It may be that the button is broken or something else is up. If you are not sure, send it to someone who is.

I fixed a button on my board not too long back... It may have been water getting in although I can't be 100% sure it wasn't just due to age of the metal in the switch. I was having to press the button every which way to get it to switch on or turn eyes off etc...

Anywho, I took the button apart and found a small copper disc shaped like a contact lens. I cleaned it with alcohol and scraped the oxidized crap off the inside with a scalpel. Fixed it back together with some glue and it's been fine ever since.

I did get a replacement button from Maplins for £1.09, it's a tactile switch (pm if you need the specs) and fits exactly the same as the old one, you just need to be happy to solder. I'll do mine if it ever starts playing up again...
