Invasion 1940: The Battle for Churchill’s Manor - www.invasion1940.co.uk

NRG Paintball and the Kent Rangers are pleased to present "Invasion 1940" – a scenario paintball game. Based upon a ‘what if’ scenario, the game aims to recreate what may have happened had the Germans crossed the Channel in 1940. Will stubborn British resistance inspired by Winston Churchill win the day again, or will the skill of General von Klinkerhofen and his task force change the course of history?

Players will represent either British or German forces. The game is formatted into a series of hour long point scoring ‘dynamic’ scenarios. Depending on the result of a scenario, one of several different subsequent scenarios will be played. This allows players and commanders to seize the initiative and allows the game to break away from a linear script whereby events happen at certain times irrespective of the state of play. The whole of the game field will be in play for each scenario with players being able to take advantage of the many buildings and vehicles present at NRG. Players are allowed to re-spawn from designated points if they are eliminated.

Why not BYO? Fussy markers won't fire most of what you have listed as 'premium' brand paint?
I cannot go into the precise economics of this, but suffice to say that if this were a BYO event, the basic entry price for the event to break even would be so high as to not make the event attractive to the majority of players.

Keeping the entry price down while including a box of paint allows the event to be price attractive to the majority of scenario players, and is in common with the prices paid at many standard walkon games in the M25 area

The exception that this game offers far more than a standard walkon both in regards to the scenario itself, but extras such as T-shirts etc

In regards to paint, most markers will more than happily fire the paint being supplied, in particular the most common types of markers used for scenario games of this type such as Tippmann, SP Ions, SP8s, Armotechs etc. Several thousand rounds were test fired through these markers on site without any problems last Saturday alone.
