Yep, Timmy's use the now almost universal 'cocker threads, so, consequently, you may use 'cocker barrels.

Yeah cocker (although not really the best thread) is becoming an industry standard.

I'd rather it was angel or spyder because the thread is better, but oh well. :) At least we are slowly moving towards a standard.

Intimidators and all new ICD guns and all new Diablo guns and many others all take cocker barrels.

Personally I kinda like having 50 different types of barrel threads. Sure, it's inconvenient for aftermarket barrel manufacturers, but on the other hand, users have to purchase whole new barrels every time they change markers.

'Cockers were so popular once that just about everybody in the game owned a barrel for them, so that's why everybody's using 'cocker threads methinks.

Can you explain why that is Manike? Is it a tighter thread or different pitch (unsure of the terms, its been like 10 years since Uni! )

Just wondering

:)

Simple answer...

How many turns does it take you to unscrew your cocker barrel?

How many turns does it take you to unscrew your Angel or Spyder?

Also...

I find Angel and Spyder barrels to be more accepting of knocks and tolerance issues.
