Insuring Gear

Hallo, Anyone know of the best way to get gear insured against theft etc? Not just from home but from field, events and car etc.

im sticking mine on my house insurance, got to send photos and descriptions of all the items thou.
insured while on the field and in car. but its addin about £6 on top of normal house insurance.
