does any one know of anywhere i can get insurance for my gun? im going to oz for a year and think it could be a good idea! any suggestions?

mine are on my home contents policy as named high value items. travel insurance should be able to cover them as well as named items
Not insurance related, but still valid.
I'd check into the legalities of taking markers into oz, as I know they are pretty strict over there, it certainly used to be the case that semi's aren't allowed, and certain states IIRC personal ownership of markers aint allowed either, they have to be "owned" by a club (aka local site).
I'm sure once the guys down under wake up and get online they'll correct me, but worth some investigation nontheless.

I think Flash has a point there, I know they are having big problems with paintball in Australia. I think Beaker has looked into this recently as he was talking about going out there for a while - I'd drop him a mail & ask him what the situation is if I were you.
ive spoken to oz customs and they said the worst would be that id have to get a shotgun licence. but thats the extreme. i should be able to walk through without a problem!
