insane in the membrane

does anyone know how i can short my dm4 board so that i can turn the eyes off without using the membrane pad?

do you know how to do a cold boot on the dm without using the pad ? touch the two prongs with an screwdriver or some thing.that should sort you out.but new pads are cheap enough to pick up

yeah i know how to do that, and i know which two prongs to touch to turn the board on and off, i just need to know which two prongs to touch to turn the eyes off.

The question is why would you want to do that and short your board? Im curious.

Hes not shorting the board.

When you press a membrane button it connects two wires together.

He is just doing the same thing cept the membrane pad is broken so he has to use an allan key.





There are 3 pins going to the membrane pad.

You just need to short either of the other two. (using trial and error)

You cant break the board by shorting the two wrong membrane pins, it just wont do anything.
