I've got an Uprising frame on one of my cockers. I think there's two versions, the older one requires a custom sized actuating rod (or, if you bought it used like me, you can just cut a little off of a standard one, and make a new bend in it), so that's kind of a pain. And mine sputters if I get to rippin' on it, but that's probably just due to my setup (I haven't put a high flow valve, or ram or qev's on it), or it might just need a fresh battery (I reckon I'll check the battery, and then buy a decent ram with qev's). Also, the stock switch is pretty stiff, I bought a lighter one, and then modified that so that it was even a little lighter. Before I did though, it was pretty tough to walk it at a decent pace. You may also want to bear in mind that they do not come with an eye (you could probably fit a Morlock in there, and then tap your body for beam-breaks, if it means that much to you). They really do rip though once you get 'em set up, plus they use your current 4 way, so there's no need for a solenoid and housing, and it's way easier to switch back to a standard frame should something go wrong with it. On the whole I'd say I'm pleased with mine, breathed some new life into my backup 2k1 'cocker.

Oh, by the way, at the Center Flag website, it says "Uprising 2.0 coming soon"... Looks like perhaps a new generation of Uprising is on it's way.

yeah i saw one for sale not long ago and if i had the cash i would have picked it up for my spare cocker

they look pritty interesting and with a lighter switch and a good set up they should rock......no point morlocking one tho, even if it did have eyes you have no electronic control over the loading so the eye would know that there was no paint there but couldnt do anything about it

where have you seen em for sale richie?

Could you not add a delay to the firing cycle, thereby giving a ball proper time to load before firing?

yep you can!!

i didnt realise that the uprising also controled the 3 way via the noid...i had assumed that with it only having one noid that the 3 way was functioning mechanically as in normal cockers.....just been reading a bit about them and looks like i was wrong!

looks like a pritty clever gadget

Yeah, the one solenoid trips the sear, and at the same time, it pushes forward, and then retracts, a sliding piece of metal that holds the actuating rod, so it still fires just like a standard frame 'cocker (with the actuating rod being pulled back, and then reset). The design is really pretty interesting. That's one of the things that attracted me to it, it's not just the same old Eblade or Race frame that everybody and their brother has on their 'cockers these days. I'm anxious to see what "Uprising 2.0" is (if it will still use this design, or go the Eblade/Race route, and use a front mounted solenoid valve).
