Does anyone know where I can get this done or does anyone on here actually do this rather difficult finish? After seeing the Aurora Nexus Ego I've been rather intrigued about it. All info will be appreciated.

Due to the high failure rate, nobody offers it as a service.

Its normally when a company have a few of last years marker available they take the plunge and sell what comes out good for a stupidly high price:)

I figured that the low success rate would be behind the lack of Aurora as an option. Is there any method that can sufficiently 'fake' it? I was originally thinking of paint, there are some nice iridescent paints out there, but I've never liked the finish that paint gives on marker parts. Anyone got any other ideas? How about other forms of plating? (if there are any)

Bournemouth.
I believe there is a plating process that can produce an effect similar.

I don't know much about it, there was something about it on PBnation.
