Don't know loads about it though I know I was going to buy one when I first started in the sport.

They are fairly indestructable from what I understand, the smaller brother often being used as a rental gun on sites for that reason.

They are good for rec ball I'd say as they are mechanical and so the rate of fire would be lower, 6-9bps (others might disagree). Just depends what you want the gun for really. It's very shiny!

Usually runs on CO2, good if you are playing in the woods as most sites supply CO2, less with air. If you want to play tournament type games I'd not recommend it.

Hope that helps a bit.

Retired tattooed lout!
It practically a suped up site marker

runs off the blow back method like tippmans - spyders etc etc, due to this its obviously not going to be a mowing machine

Use spyder threaded barrells but i wouldn't personally waste your money on an upgraded barrell - the "Hell fire" stock barrell will do you fine for what you want it for (i am assuming it for playing toy soldiers in the woods)

Relativley reliable and well made..

they run fine on CO2 but from what i remember they dont like the cold very much

BPS- it's a mechanical trigger so prob under 10 for most people, although practice and find the sweet spot and you can outrun a revvi.

Gas- Anti-syphon CO2 will be fine but air gives the best results- save up and get a 0.8 or 1.1 litre 4500 tank rather than buying one of the cheaper steel 3000psi versions. You'll need the extra air and save money in the long run.

Ups- almost none that make any real difference; the barrel takes Spyder threads but I'm fond of the stock tube. It's much better than most and has a very good finish, if a little loud. You can put a regulator on the FASA but I find there's not much advantage to going low pressure and it's getting harder to find a reg that'll supply over 400psi. There's no huge advantage to the venturi bolt unless you're breaking a lot of paint in the barrel and all in all one of the things I like about the Inferno is that you don't have to put much money into it to get a marker that will work in all weathers and shoots very well.

Infernomark- If you can run to £230 I'd take a long look at the ICD Promaster. Very fast and almost plastic free;)
There's a review in PGI #198:)
