I picked up an Excellerator 5.0 over the weekend just to have a play with. Has anybody else noticed that the internals are strikingly similar (Identical!) to an inferno, bolts, springs the lot are interchanagable. (Only they seem slightly cheaper quality)

Also I'm having lots of trouble with it chopping paint, I'm using some pretty thick shelled nelson stuff (The excellerator seems pretty rough on the paint) and the velocity is no higher than 250fps and it still chops like crazy. Even a revvy 12v doesn't seem to help, although I did notice the hopper doesnt go all the way into the vertical feed, could this be causing the problem?

Anybody else have similar trouble?

Cheers

Whats your paint barrel fit like? are they chops or barrel breaks?
