hi all
just changed batts over and put a new one in.when i did this got the smell of burning board.then ripped out as quick as i could.the board was hot.and then i dont work.has any body got a way of testing of repairing it ? any help please guys

sounds like your screwed. burning board isnt a good sign. also if its not working i doubt you can do much. Voltmeter (whatever they're called ) is your best plan.

dont hold your breath though.

Had you put the clam back on ? if so did trap a wire or have any wires become damaged at the connectors and touched the board?
Another thing to check, if you have taken the board out at all, is the silver sticker on the solinoid is not damaged. This is made of foil and could screw any make of board!
Before even fitting a new board, you really need to find the cause, as a simple battery change would not fry it. If you want the looms check, I can do that. If they are ok and you need another Tadao, I have the M5 software ones in stock.
