I have a tippy 98 and I know it fires 6bps, is there anyway of increasing that through tweaking something in the gun or modifing gun. If so, please let me know.

philip - normally that would be a good idea, but what neddyboy is trying to say is that the tippmann is actually physically limited to 6 bps. pushing that envelope causes nearly every ball he fires to chop!

yes thats right, i was just seeing if anyone knows a way of increasing the bps whether by tweaking the inside of the gun or with modifications
Billy No Mates: the gun can actually do 21CPS, and can actually do around 9-10 BPS.
If you really want to make it cycle quicker, change the main spring for a stronger one, but remeber to rechrono as it will be much higher than before hand...Hope that helps
