just a bit off topic-

any of you have probs when ur servcing ur imp, in the form of, taking the valve out and putting it in the front, in my imp by the air distrib manifold (where a tapeworm runs along) its slightly raised with an edge and a nasty nasty habit of cutting orings in half

also putting valve in the back way is a tight tight fit and if a new orings on its a struggle to stop it popping off in some place

just wondering :p

All of the impulse guides I've read state that you need to remove and insert the valve through the back, for exactly that reason. I tend to use a clean straight shot to push the valve through the back, with a finger in the front end to position it.

Unless you are replacing the valve, it's not something I would be removing with any frequency. Using a wooden dowel and pushing it in through the back has worked fine for me in the past.
