I have an Impulse which is having a volocity problem. In order to achieve anything near 300fps I have to turn the CO2 pressure to the max (250psi), so before I strip it down could this just be something simple like a flat battery?

What setup are u running???? If you lightened internals then the chances are that they are too light so not striking the valve hard enough, I assume you've fiddled with your dwell with the pressure set at 160-180 how you should do when you set velocity?

I had this problem at the last tourney I played.

We had to turn up the dwell and had the Max flow turned up fairly high and i was only chronying at 265 fps ????

I have not tried it since then and am playing at the weekend so i will have to re chroney and adjust accordingly.

It might have been to do with the weather and how warm it was for the CO2??

Is this a constant problem or was it just the one time you played. Strip it down re grease it all and re chrony it may just have been an odd day. If not get it serviced by Smart Parts.

I would say that it is probably to do with the dwell and settings too.. although I beleive your setup is a bog standard 'off the shelf' mc-do-whacky with out any upgrades it could just be becasue you suck ass!
