okay sorted the leak from the regulator but know I've manage to loosen the part of the marker that the vertical regulator screws into. Question is; does this part that screws into the body of the impulse screw in, push in or what? If it screws in I'll have to remove the gauge to turn it. Any help would be helpfull Before I take it apart again.

Had that looseness problem, in the end I put loadsa muscle into that locking nut, and sheared a screw. Later learnt that you must:

Remove the reg from the vertical mount, via the locking nut
There is a screw inside the vertical mount which you must turn up into the body, it should be done to a "wrist" tightness, not as tight as possible.

No problem, taking mine down to LIPS soon to get mine fixed since i sheared a screw.
