impy feed neck wont screw in

my team mate has an impy, standard body, standard feed neck which doesnt want to screw in any more. obviously wasnt screwed in well enough at first round of the PA as it came off after a dive. Happened again this sunday and now it just doesnt seem to want to screw in.
What action is gonna be needed?

i'll get round his and give it another go, but doesnt seem to like it. He is after a new clamping feed neck (probably evolve one) so i'll pop there and get one during work tomorrow, if that one wont get in, how would he go about getting the body re-threaded?

got till the next KOTH on the 25th when we're guesting to get it sorted so any help as quick as poss will be appreciated.

I had this happen with mine. Was just the first thread that wouldn't bite.

First off get a pin and clean out the threads of any loctite or dirt that may be in them. Then just VERY slowly try and get it to bite, don't try and force it in as you will just damage the threads more.

Worked on mine...

Was told I would need another body as you can't rethread them by SPE. Failing that they said you could use something like metal weld glue to hold it in.

Nice one Paul....

By the sounds of it you've allready damaged the threads, but possibly only the first couple of turns, you need to get it to sp or a good engineering workshop. The damage could be on the feed neck, but usually it's both.

I've repaired this sort of thing before, but i would have to see it to give you an answer.
