impy criket board Q

just fitted a cricket board to my impy, now can any one tell me why it takes four trigger pulls to get the thing firing?

battery?
dwell?

it fires fine after the four trigger pulls unless you leave it for a while then you have to do the same again. i havent touched the dwell as of yet. thought i would ask you lot first.

are we talking about when it is gassed up?? what is your input preassure set at?? do u have an lpr?? it would help if we had a little info about your setup to have an idea as to the problem.

Thinking about it it sounds like FSDO set your input to 180ish and adjust the dwell untill you reach the desierd FPS

right with the gun gassed up set at the right output it takes four trigger pulls to start firing as normal. its just beeen fitted with the cricket board and the eclipse Impulse Front Reg Mount.

once youve pulled the trigger four or so times it fires great as it should. had the impy for ages and know how it should work but cant work out why it is doing this!!!

any ideas??

oh, forgot to say, after the four pulls and its firing great (yey) but once you live it for a small length of time the same thing happens. its like its building up pressure but surely if it was firing fine then pressure should be there.

of the lads in our team had the same problem, he cleaned the back of the hammer, excess lube causing sticktion, seemed to do the job.

will give it ago tomorrow night mate, thanks. the only problem is ive had the gun for a yr and up until last week, when the cricket was fitted, it never did it b4.

any1 else got any ideas what could be causing it?

have you adjusted the dwell yet??

it may just need turning up, the first couple of shots the balls would just drop out of the barrel. I adjusted the dwell and its fine now, so try that.
