Impulse with Break beam eyes?

Is it possible to have break beam eyes on a blue light cricket board?

You can buy a predator board which uses break beam, but if fitted/set up properly the std vision should give you no problems.

you cant adjust the vision on the blue light board and it works by sensing when a ball drops in but isnt 100%

Certain paint colours arent picked up and im getting chops at fast rates of fire

Well impulses have been good enough for top teams like the ton-ton, ducklings e.t.c for years with reflective eyes, make sure they are clean and then just use light coloured paint, i've used dark colours with mine and the only ones i had any trouble with was some crappy site paint in a very dark green colour, but everything else even dark purple seems fine. Most manufacturers make light coloured paint anyway so just stick to a good, light colour and you shouldnt have any trouble.

Also, what pressure are you running at?, chopping isnt always a case of bad vision.

Its usually OK but I used some dark brown at the big game and i was having all sorts of problems. changed it to light green and it was much better but still chopped about 1 in 50

im running at 180 input pressure, it chops on the bolt if i go to 200 so i make sure its no more than 180.

am looking and fitting a lpr soon so using much lower pressures.

Its a new eye by the way so i dont think thats the problem.

What velocity are you getting @180psi?

depends on the dwell settings but with about 15 beeps im getting about 250fps
