Ok heres the problem.

My marker absoultley rips with vision mode off, and very rarely chops a ball. But recently this has changed and I have now started to chop for some reason or another.

However when i turn my vision ON my marker slows down incrediblly, so much so I prefer to chop!

I have a modded Cricket Board (25bps?) and have replaced the eyes numerous times.

I am shooting Bright yellow paint, but previously I have shot dark purple and I have the same problems with both.

Any ideas?

is the connection between the cricket board (main) and the eye board ok? check to see that there is a good connection between the 2 this happened to a team mate... are there any pinched wires ie the battery wires and the eye ribbon ?

Im pretty sure they are fine, I completely stripped my marker not so long ago - and didnt notice any trapped wires

have you tried an eye that you KNOW works from another vision impy at all , atleast that will eliminate the fact that it might be faulty eye problems? if its not the eye then it could be the board which would be a *******

What brand bright yellow paint? have recently used the bright yellow celtic paint & my vision eye don't like it can't see it,I also had to switch the eye off.Not had any probs with other colours but have stayed away from dark coloured paints because of reported probs with black, try a different colour used pink & also white with no problems.
