impulse velocity problems

I was having problems with velocity this weekend. It is really the first time I have used my marker, and I really only have one problem with it: I can't get the thing to shoot further!! (shots kept 'dropping' too early)

I couldn't get over 260 FPS - I was running on CO 2, at 200 PS I, with dwell set to maximum.

hopefully it is a dumb and easy question: "how do I increase the velocity on my marker - without switching to air?"

it's the new impulse (mk3?)
IMP014621 with vert reg setup
All else is standard

I simply adjust the max flow until the guage reads 200 - that's all the adjustment we got innit?

Set the input of your marker to around 175-180.
Then adjust your dwell setting on the chrono (small black holes).
This should do the trick:)

cheers burb

so you are saying less pressure = more speed ???

( or you missed this bit:
"I couldn't get over 260 FPS - I was running on CO 2, at 200 PS I, with dwell set to maximum." ?);)

Set the pressure to around 175psi as Burb says

Then decrease the dwell by pushing and holding the rear button until it beeps continuosly. Now press the front button say 10 times (10 beeps).

Put it over the chrono and adjust from there using the dwell to start with. When it is shooting consistently over the chrono then adjust the reg accordingly.

If that doesnt sort it out then you may have other problems which SP will gladly sort out for you.
