The Evil valve is designed to be run at higher input pressures than the New Designs valve. Unless you also plan to buy the Evil Respirator (LPR), I wouldn't get the valve.

I've used both the Evil valve and Resp. and compared them with the ND Valve and the ND LPR (a Jackhammer II) and I much prefered the New Designs parts. You can run at lower pressures with the ND and it was simply an easier to use combination of parts. However, if your goal is efficiency, then running the Evil combination at input pressures in the 200 psi range will definitely give you more shots per tank. All things considered, I'd buy the ND Valve and LPR.

Don't even consider the Evil bolt. I had a terrible experience with mine (won't bore you with details here) and would recommend the ND Equalizer bolt over the Evil any day of the week.

As far as the Punch kit goes, I've never owned one. However I do have the New Designs hammer assembly with a slick shot ram and stainless hammer. Works extremely well with the ND valve and LPR. Unfortunately, the reviews I've seen on the Punch are mixed at best. Some people have had problems with them, some report good results. Again, I'd buy ND.:)

Run a ndz silk shot ram,sp brass hammer, jackhammer ll lpr,& a strange delrin bolt, strange pull pin,
Have input at 180psi,lpr & approx 100psi dwell at 9 from bottom get pretty good efficiency would say around 1600 of a 4000 fill possibly more never realy checked as i only carry 6x140's & full egg, have never run out of air before paint even when only getting 2500 fills(1.5 bottle though)
P.s also have the ndz equalizer bolt & found the strange one to be more consistant over the chrono

DON'T buy the punch ram, they actualy make your impulse worse. The NDZ rams are far more effective :)
