IMPULSE questions

i am looking to buy an impulse in the coming months and was wondering what i could do to it upgrade wise? My other question is, can you put vision on after you buy your gun or do you have to buy it stock.

yes you can have vision put in to your gun after it is bought.

Provided you don't buy one of the early impulses. These didn't have the milling to take the eye.

If you're buying the Impy new, I'd buy it w/o vision and then buy one of the Wcked Air Sports (WAS) Equalizer boards for it. They will cost $150 (US) and are supposed to be a marked improvement over the standard SP vision system. The boards are on the verge of being released and should be (knock on wood) available in the next several weeks.

As far as upgrades are concerned, I'd get a new trigger, a delrin bolt, a stainless steel hammer and a slick shot ram. New Designs makes very good Impy parts and these would be my first choices for the ones above. You might also consider a ND valve and a Low Pressure Reg., if you feel the need. On the other hand, if I had to just choose one or two of the upgrades, I'd get a new bolt and a new trigger. Also a good barrel system like the freak wouldn't hurt your game.
