I just bought an Impulse and for the most part it seems ok. I played with it for the first time on Sunday and encountered a little thing that seems a little wrong. Sometimes when i start to increase my rate of fire more than one ball seemed to come out, I got breaks and just made a mess everywhere. I have the standard barrel. Now I know this just sounds like I am a bit trigger happy but for what I have seen them do it was not up to the same grade. When I cleaned it at home after my dad (not that he knows bout paintball) seemed to think that the O-rings on the bolt were too thin and flush to the bolt. would this be a prob?

Any 1 had any similar experience?

Also it seemed that if I had the marker angled doen (barrel 2 the floor) that occasionally paint would just fall out this I think was what might be where the firing was having trouble. when you haold it to the ground they should stay in there until you pull the trigger?

Any help please!!!!!!!!

I don't know much about Impulses but the problem may be because of your paint to barrel match (Bore Size) cause as u said your using the standard barrel or there may be a problem with the anti-double ball!!!! But I'm not sure about the o-rings on the bolt thing!!!

:D :D :D

Bolt - the O-rings are OK - we use Delrin bolts with no O-rings on so don't worry about that.

Barrel - paint falls out of the barrel because it is too small for the bore.

Chopping - are the batteries in your loader fresh?? Have you got a Revolution???

If the paint is not feeding quick enough then chops are inevitable in any gun (except the Vision Impulse of course).

Where did you buy it?? Ask them to have a look at it or if you are at Campaign next week (go anyway even if you're not playing) and see Smart Parts or barring that - ask any of the Rushers - we are always glad to help!!!

Good luck

Mark

Do any of you helpful guys deal with shoker triggers. Mine has a lot of sideways movement and could be better, but I don't know much about trigger work! I will be at Campaign this weekend flying the flag for the UK.

For a blade trigger I would need an LE board and I cannot justify paying £85 for a turbo board when a) I already have one and b) they are banned. As for a shock'ya trigger, I don't know much about them (cost, does it need an LE board) and the same goes for a hypersport works trigger frame.

Hypersport frames

They just bolt on (a little electrickery required wiring it to your existing board) and they look and feel real nice.

As for the Shockya - that is custom work - again no board required.

The extra money spent is well worth it - it'll help snap shooting etc.

Good luck deciding!!

To get back to the original question, the problem is with your anti-double ball. It sounds like is jammed, or full of paint. The ADB nut is the piece screwed into the side of the gun just below the feed tube. Take it out and see if the little ball bearing goes in and out.

Right thanks to all so far, to answer a few questions the batteries in my VL revolution were brand new out the packet.

I bought it second hand (from the forums boards) A guy called Kieran from Thunder (plays over at temple).

I will be at Campaign so I might put it in the car and if I see you around and you get a mo (yea ok busy tourney) you could take a look (goes to Mark T)?

Thanks to everyone I will see what happens after adjustments.

(p.s Iwas using Diablo paint (midnight) through the standard impulse barrell dont know size.)
