Impulse problem

I recently bought an AVI Impulse, and it looks and works really well. Well, no, not exactly. See, the burst valve in the front has a leak in it. I've tried damn near everything (which amounts to locktite and the white tape) to get it to stop, but no luck. Perhaps due to that, my air efficiency is godawfully bad. So bad I can only probably get 200 shots out of a 3000 psi tank.

I've got the Max-flo reg down to about 180-90, and the tank works fine otherwise. Any ideas on what I can do?

sounds like you need a new burst disk/valve, ptfe tape will only help if its leaking around the thread but loctiting it shut could be rather dangerous, it may either blow your internals (nasty:eek: ) or just blow up full stop!

Sounds like a shockers efficiency to me!!! :p

are you talking about the little brass bleed valve at the top of the foregrip? what was your presure to start with, it should only 'leak' if you're runnin it too high, if it just 'leaks' period then get a new one, either give SP or Planet a shout, or alternatively frantically run around every impulse owner at your next tourney asking if they have a spare you buy/borrow/steal when they're not lookin ':D' i know i got a spare one.
