I am looking to buy an impulse from a friend. He has tricked it out to go full auto (a sweat spot) without a chip modification (turbo chip). My question is, is making this modification to a gun that is not supposed to go full auto damaging to the chip of the gun in any way?

I don't think that it is full auto. Just a place in the trigger pull, that the gun cycles around your fingger. My angel does the same thing. No it will not hurt the gun. It is still semi. Don't worry

A friend of mine has a blade trigger fitted with such a short pull on it that when the trigger is pressed sideways, the spring causes it to rock the microswitch on and off.

Its effectively full auto, but the switch is actually going on and off rather than staying on and letting the board pulse the signal.
