ok looking at getting a imp, wondering how much maintenance is required after a days play or what can go wrong
also whats different between 2002 imp and older models
if you hav a delrin bolt you need to re-lube your hammer once every 2-3 months. If you have a stock bolt (ie. with o-rings) you have to re-lube it after every day of play as well as the hammer evey 3-4 months. Also you should clean out the solenoid around every 4 months and you will need a spares kit to to replace a broken gasket in it (effects performance, so no matter if you havet got a replacement but does effect i quite a lot). This i just what i do with mine and it is running fine but its really up to how often you use it.
been checking prices etc
sorry noobie question on smartparts web site you pay an extra £55 for air what are you paying for
i thought imps run on both without any changes needed

i had loads of problems with this one too. its really confusing. the extra cash means that you get a vertical max flow but the internals are different so you can stick an air tank striahgt on and go. if you don't pay the extra but get a vertical max flow then you can run co2 straight into it but air needs a secondary reg (like an armageddon, pure energy screw in or something
hope that clears it up
rich
p.s. this could be wrong but it's what smart parts and planet told me.
