Impulse low rise.

Hello..
I wonder if anyone can give me a little input on this one.I have a stock impulse with high rise feed.Thing is I think it makes the gun too tall.This might just be me but I think I would prefer a low rise.
I am thinking about ordering one from smart parts.
Could anyone throw in their two cents on this lot?

1.How do you fit them? Will I need to get an airsmith to do it?

2.Will it affect my rate of fire as there are not so many balls in the "stack".I'm not a trigger fanner by any means but I sometimes spray to keep people's heads down.Am I gonna be chopping like mad because I don't have vision?

Okay fitting new feeds is easy as they just screw in as they are threaded. So unscrew the high rise may take a little force then clean the threads on the impulse body next place some loctite on the threads of the new feed and screw it in. Check u havent screwed it in to far and it is obstructing the breech.

next as long as your hopper can feed at the same speed or faster then your impluse can fire u will be fine. For example

impluse 11 bps
Xboard revy with evil paddle (Greatest 5 quid ever spent ) 13bps

u wont chop unless u set up your impulse incorrectly but dont own a impulse so wouldn't know bout that.

Dont believe everything you read....use the book as a guide and experience as the teacher.Your Impulse will work just fine with a low rise even without vision.You may still get the occasional break when you shoot fast,but not more breaks than normal with a non vision impulse under the same conditions.My team uses a mixture of vision and non vision equiped impulses,we all have low rises,(voodoo),fitted and havent had any problems.My advice,get yourself a low rise and a low profile,Paul,Owner A&P Sports Germany,Capt.Team Targets

As for the low rise well, buy a halo!!!!!

The low rise may effect it my advice find some one with a low rise and try it, if you make paint soup then you know the answer. Don't bother.
