Impulse,leaking help!

Scars

Retired tattooed lout!
Ive noticed recently that when i fire my impulse, a slight burst of air comes from the trigger frame and the back of the tray..
This quiet worried me as i though it might of been the solinoid, since i found out it wasn't that at all, i stripped her down and realised that when fired it was coming from around the solinoid,
Does anyone know how i could stop this??
I have a slight suspision it might be the o rings around the back of the hammer and shaft.
Anyone else suffered with this and how did you deal with it???

first off, strip the whole lot down and clean it, if the prob is an o-ring you'll see it straight away.

if it is indeed comin from round the solenoid, then the whole internal mounting of the solenoid could be knackered. best send it to someone who knows,

Firstly, it's nornal for a small puff of air to come from the solenoid when you fire - that's the exhaust from the ram chamber. It depends how much air acutally comes out - if it's barely noticeable, then it's normal operation.

Secondly - joe bob, you don't have a pneumatic solenoid in your spyder, so it can't have air coming out of it :D But there is a vent hole between the body and grip frame that releases excess gas used to recock the striker. Again, just the smallest puff of air is normal. If it's coming out of the back of the body when you fire, then you probably need to replace your striker o-ring.

Btw its scars @ m8s house

So its totally normal??

Its certainly new because ive never noticed it before, either that or that could be me,

Ithuoght it could of been one of a few things ive done to it since

I changed the eclipse valve to the summer one, i ve also had a friend bring me back an evil back plug from the states which basicly plugs the back of the bolt so crap can't get in.

Ive taken my hammer assembly out, the o rings hav'nt got any knicks in but they do look quiet looseish so ill order a O ring kit in the week and see how it gets on
