Hello.....again!
I pulled my impulse out of my bag this sunday, and when i dry fired it it made a horrible crunch sound. It doesnt make this sound when you remove the bolt, or when its firing paint, and i have tried different bolts to see if thats the problem.
Peegee sorted out my velocity at wakefield by changing the dwell setting. Could this have anything to do with the new bizarre sound?

Peegee you have helped me with all my impulse problems!!

Save me again........;)

Or anyone else for that matter:p

Nice one.

No it sounds fine when its firing paint, as it does when there is blow back on the bolt.
But when dry firing its sounds like its grinding?

you need one of them
No he dosen't. An optimizer just prevents the solonoid from being starved on the first shot.

When you dry fire does the gun recock??? Have you taken the bolt and hammer out to check for any wear on them or evidence of scratches??
