Impulse and Vert Regulator

I have an early model (#4029) Impulse with a Vertical MaxFlow Regulator.

Kind of hard to describe but the regulator appears to have two Inlet ports, one at the back of the Regulator Body and one on the side.

I need to move the Inlet pipe on the from the back of the Reg to the side. Is it a simple matter of unscrewing the Inlet pipe from one hole and screwing into the other, obviously swapping the cap in the process??

Or is there a way of rotating the Reg?

Swapping the inlet pipe is exactly what to do. The other port is there for a gauge if desired. Both sides are by design equal.

As your here and seem to know quite a bit may I ask if it is possible to rotate the reg so that the Inlet is at the front rather than the back?

I'm still stunned!

I don't happen to have your marker in my hand at the moment, so I can't really say much beyond that it probably wouldn't be too good an idea to try to mess with it as it is because it seats into the vert adapter the way it is. Use macroline and be happy.
