Impulse and Expansion Chamber

hey guys, i just bought an impulse and my local site only uses co2... now i no that you can use co2 on impulses (well you can on shockers anyway) am i gonna need and expansion chamber if imm running an a/s tank?
also if i wana put an expansion chamber in, am i gonna need some kind of adapter? the board housing just over the trigger frame looks too close to the hole to put a chamber in... your thoughts?

Also if anyone has a spare expansion chamber, pm me plz

if you were to put an Expansion chamber on an impulse you would hear a bang then a consistant hiss...

Impulses are low pressure so require an Inline reg to bring your pressure down - whilst an expansion chamber merely encourages liquid CO2 to vapourise.. What set up do you have at present?

if you have a means of inline reg - ie Maxflo, Vertical or mounted to your gripframe, you will be fine providing your bottle is anti Syphoned, dont shoot to quickly else you'll freeze up your reg

if you only have a gas thru grip you will need an inline reg

hmm, got a maxflow attached to the bottom o my gripframe.
then gas thru foregrip, which was what i was wanting to replace because as far as i can see it doesnt really serve a purpose.

+ but i like firing fast!

dont worry about the expansion chamber mate...waste of time

they way you have it set up is perfect for co2

firing fast will be fine its the contant streams of paint that casue your gun to freeze up and chill down

i speak from experience and so should ian as he bought mine off me way back when!!

I gotcha - unfortuantely the nature of co2, once it starts flowing quick it purely can't vapourise quick enough so if you shoot quick - your gonna get cold!

there is no reason why you cant use an expansion chamber where your gas thru is (never seen it done mind) - Smart parts sell the asa mounts (you may have one but i know some gas thru directly mounted into the body) once thats on the Expansion chamber should use a standard asa Thread so it should go on without a problem

Too true - i got stuck to the foregrip on that damn thing on CO2 - Took 3 guys to prize my arm of it
