Bricket Wood Training

Dear Teams,

We are pleased to announce that from the beginning of Jan 2013 we will re-open Bricket Wood tournament training Centre under new ownership.

We would like to assure all teams that they are all welcome to come and train with us and that we will be updating the site over the coming months while improving staging areas and general facilities.

The site in general has suffered from lack of investment and direction for a considerable amount of time. This will change but I am sure that you all appreciate that this will be a fairly slow process over the coming months.

Yorkie has, and will continue to do a great job running the site and hopefully with support from the new management team, things will get even better.

For those of you who are not aware the Bricket Wood site was in fact, due to its financial position, about to close! We felt unable to allow that to happen and so we stepped in.

As an operational training and recreational paintball site it must be a viable concern or it will die as it very nearly did. This unfortunately means that the “deals” that some teams have had in the past with the previous management company will now no longer be available. The low fees paid in the past have unfortunately as mentioned above had brought Bricket Wood to the point of closure.

You will no doubt appreciate, the costs of running the centre are high and our aim is to offer a good venue with good facilities but this has to financially balance and provide income for re-investment.

The daily rate per person will now be as follows:-

1. Teams buying site supplied training paint £15 per person.

2. Teams who want bring their own paint £20 per person.

We regret also that we will no longer be able to store team paint that has not been supplied by Bricket wood.

We will be offering very competitive training paint pricing so please contact us if you are interested in a quote.

We will also like to bring to your attention that some paint brands are filled with oil based paints!

These paints will also no longer be allowed to be brought on to the site. If you are not sure about your paint please firstly ask your supplier for confirmation of the fill formula and then double check with us before you buy or bring the paint to site!

All paint suppliers / manufacturers will be asked to supply the necessary COSH sheets for the paint but to avoid any confusion, if in doubt please ask!

We really hope that everyone understands that the price structuring is purely to allow for the required investment in the site which will provide the facilities that you the player’s, require to take tournament paintball in the right direction.

Kind regards,
