Hello everyone, My name is Ryan, I'm fairly new to the whole paintballing scene, I was just looking on justpaintball.com and was just wondering...

What googles and what marker to you recommend i buy just to get used to in and get into the sport?

All Answers will be gratefully accepted.

Budget is important consideration and there is a thriving second hand market on this site which can help to lower the initial costs

How often are you going to play?
Have you played before?
Will you just be doing WalkOns or plan to play tournament or woodsball?

You need to try on some goggles to see what's good for you
Where are you? See if there is a retailer somewhere near you (they are not on the high streets) or get to an event and check out gear

Alternately find a walkon and ask to check out other people's gear

I can't recommend the above enough. Depending on what you are going to play or your own personal pref. go to a walk on or down to CPPS or Bricket and have a look at the vendors. Try before you buy.

Plenty of second hand bargains out there, try as many different sets of goggles as you can, as whats a nice fit on one person is horrible on another, personally I've got a set of E-vents, really comfy and they don't fog, also tried a set of i4's from a team mate, they felt nice also.
As for markers, eclipse markers are good, ive got an ego8 and not had any problems with it, shots nice all day long, also had a go with there etha and geo, again shoots really nice, empire axe is a good marker at a nice price, again shoots nice, like the mask, try as many markers as you can a get one thats right for you

I would say buy a pair or high end masks like i4's or sly profit or e-vents. If you buy one of the best mask at the start of paint balling if would save you a lot of money continuously upgrading you're masks. Don't make the same mistake as me ;)

Budget is very important of course, I would definitely advise getting your mask before a marker. If you've been paintballing at sites then you'll have definitely come across the problem of the hire mask rapidly steaming up. Get a good mask, don't cheap out on it, it's a vital investment. Then, once you've got a thermal mask, go and play another few games of paintball, it'll make a massive difference to your game and enjoyment. Once you're sure paintballing is for you, then invest in a marker. It is a big investment, and shouldn't be a spur of the moment buy!

Well said Alan,
A high end Mask is what your after. Your own marker later done the line, if paintballs for you. Site guns are alot better to when you can see ;)
