i am looking into getting into a team of some sort may it bein woodsball senario tornament recreational..

Hi and welcome to the forums.Steel tank will do you fine for the woods and brand new are around £40 ish. If you want a lighter tank then the carbon fibre wraps (and similar) seem to be going from between £70 and £100 at the moment dependant on make/model, regulator and time until next retest. Think there were about 3 bottles on sale last time I did a quick check for a friend on Friday.

Carbon fibre cylinders are stronger - they have to be to cope with the higher pressure, the internal cylinder is essentially the same as a steelie but the carbon fibre reinforces the cylinder

However you can damage the fibre if you scratch it or drop it on a hard surface
Depending on the damage it either becomes unusable or can be put in for an extra inspection & hydro test to verify it is still up to standard

Keeping a cylinder in a cover will protect from scratches
