I thought this got was already being sold. Sure I saw a video of it in use...
Not sure about legality........... it is kinda like running around with a camper stove with a pipe attached to it.
More importantly does it belch fire with every shot ? Night games could get rather interesting........

If the projectile shell was thick enough to withstand the explosive blast then the ball would not therefore be frangible.
In the UK a paintball gun is classed as a toy as it fires frangible rounds, so lets pray it's deemed as illegal, but hey the law has its vagaries

the combustion chamber on these is sealed, no flame spitting capability I'm afraid. the explosion powers the bolt/air compression to fire the ball and it aint half as "leathal" as the article suggests. the propane tank on the gun is the only worry I would have but its unlikely you could get it to blow up if your just playing paintball.
Yeah, saw this on reg yesterday. The C3 came out a while ago and tippman discontinued it. The patent must have been pending for a while and by the time it got approved no one gave a ****.
Yeah, I thought this was a fairly old invention from Tippman. Techpb did a video on it a while back.

The Idea of the C3 was to make a very efficient gun that runs on propane for American hicks who live miles from anyone.
You couldnt fire a paintball through a live pig because it would break under the acceleration.
