hi guys
i have an icon z and the other day i was gettin quite a few bps out of it
well at least it looked like it, but it was a long trigger pull
so i was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to lessen the trigger pull to like a tippman custom pro style or basically like all the other markers there are lol
thx in advance for any advice

I have no idea how icon Z's work....

or most "lower-end" markers in fact..

but i remember from back in my tippy days, we'd do the "pen spring" mod, where you'd replace you're existing trigger spring (inside the grip, look to your manual for disassembling instructions) for a smaller &/or less "hard" spring....thus giving you a shorter easier pull enabling you to hit a higher BPS. it's namely the pen spring mod, because you could cut down the springs from "clicky" pens for it to work... clever eh?

now, i'm not sure if the Icon-Z has "eyes" but if it doesn't you need to be careful of chopping and breaking paint at a higher ROF than is intended, so i would recommend using/purchasing a fast higher-end electronic loader, which will not only suffice your needs at the moment, but will be an invaluable investment for the future if you splash out on a good one now.

hope the above isn't all twoddle, i wish you the best of luck in mashing out that high ROF.

then you can only do mods, the gun is similar to a spyder but is kinda scaled back, no many upgrades at all. i think that you can only get about 8 bps from them anyway due to the parts inside, either buy an e frame which are very hard to find, or get spyder frame and try and mod that to work with your icon. Failing that, get a ION

you dont have any solutions or possible mods do you?
plus ive not been brave enough to take apart my icon
ive taken my tippy apart dozens of times but the tube design of the icon has me nervous cus i dont want to lose or break anything because i understand that some markers are quite delicate
