I imagine a revvy would be fine, a VL Qantum has that forever rotating paddle with no eye to stop it so it keeps werring annoyingly.
The grip is actually capped at 13bps like the Mako frame for spyders so a 12v Revolution would be fine with no chance of chopping.
They are pretty much like spyders for operation, which is very good and easy to maintain. When you get the marker there will be an internals diagram which is basically Bolt, Striker and Valve.
Bolt and Striker sit one above the other (bolt on top tube). These are linked by a metal dowl or peg which runs down into the striker i presume. This is because i own a spyder in the same configuration.
This whole assembly moves forward under spring tension when you pull the trigger (release a catch to let the bolt and striker fly forward). When it gets fully forward it opens a very simple valve and lets air up through the bolt and fires the paintball. Then uses the remaining gas to throw the bolt and striker back and gets caught on the trigger catch ("Sear" is the proper name for the catch). This is now ready to fire again, but this all happens really quickly and as fast as 13 times a second.
Hope this helps mate.
