ICD and ion impulse feed neck thread....

hi guys ive been told ICD feed neck threads are the same as ion feed neck threads , so ive gone and bought one , is this true ?

o and what is the best way to remove a stock feedneck from a promaster as its not wanting to unscrew

one of those flex-wrench things are pretty good

plus elbow grease

just coz im feeling overly helpful tonight

or if its a clamping feed neck get a nice tight fit on your hopper and use the extra leaverage

Hairdryer on hot to melt the locktite.Then a strap wrench.

if your not bothered about damaging the old feed neck substitute mole grips for the strap wrench

Yes but you will need to threadlock the new one in.

yeah just about i just didnt know the proper name for a strap wrench

tho it does make more sense than "flex wrench"

but all i usually do is jam in a shake and shoot hopper works a treat as long as theres good grip
