We have been playing the series since its start...and coming back from Germany, I have to say that I am sick and tired of the sh(t going on...

Few examples (some old issues already debated and some new..)

The EXL joke : from the countries selected to how the league is set up..... no comment

The Dye jerseys : they are out, then in, then you can use them but have to play with nothing else (its was very very cold in Germany...)

The politics and related bullsh(it : here again, I am going to take few examples without even bothering to comment on them.

In Portugal,
- After a game between Shockwave and Jaguars (Fr), the game sheet disappeared. Accidently, a NEW sheet appeared with new numbers giving Shockwave the win (they'd lost the game). After Jaguar complained, Moose (let's say very connected to shockwave), just ripped the false game sheet and said "let's just forget about it guys, OK?"
- On the X-ball field (marshalled by the Tonton, a Smart Part team) a player from Strange (also a smart part team) got caught with a full-auto gun! The Strange player just got a little slap on his hand....

In Germany
- After a game they just lost, a player from Worms, threw is gun on the ground and kicked in the base (no destruction of a dead box....). Worms got a 200 points penalty and their player is banned for the rest of the tournament. Two games later, after a game they've lost, a player from Tonton acyd (not Flingur) threw his gun on the ground and got away with it with no penalty.... Quote :"He did not throw his gun, he dropped it !!!!!!!!!!"

- Enemy fury against enemy chaos, 96-51. Flag hung and flag in transit. Shockwave and Mayhem tigers, kicked out of the semi by this suspicious result complained to Moose (!) and got both enemy teams banned from the tournament and probably with no option of playing in Amsterdam.... that's totally OK IF they cheated, .... but it seems a little harsh with absolutely NO proofs....

As I said, we, as a Pro team, playing and paying since the series started, got enough of this already. We feel like we are not getting fare service/marshalling/competition for the money we pay.... We are now seriously considering dropping out of the millennium series ....... :( :( :( :........unless they decide to take some serious actions

PS : Don't take any name of team or person cited here as a personal attack. They just happened to be actors in some of the sh(t I have witnessed. They are NOT in any way meant to discredit the teams/persons cited.

The thing that annoyed me the most in Germany was the state of the floor in the staging area.
Who the hell dreamed up that surface? It was well suited for breakdancing, but not for walking around in cleats, carrying heavy gearbags.
I have seen several people hit the floor rather hard. In my opinion it was a health hazard.

Eurotrash....

I didn't see the Enemy incident but I spoke to numerous other people who saw the game and said "no question" that there was an "agreement" - it was too suspicious. Also when given the punishment there was not much protesting - their silence almost admitting to the fact that they did somehting shady.

Missing Amsterdam will be the least of their worries - the rules state they will be banned for a year.

whyyouwannabitch about the players area - indoors, heated, lotsa room, video for the standings - sure the floor was slippery but it was the same covering as last year. I would much rather have that players area than Portugal.

Goose,

I totally agree with you.

The game between both Enemy teams did look like a fix. But that's exactly the point... It only LOOKED like a fix. As today, there is no (and most likely ever will) proof of any game fixing. Even though, because of influential pressure from other teams, Enemy got banned (which is 200% deserved IF the game was indeed fixed).

I know that Enemy (actually enemy players, not the team) should be banned for the rest of the season, so the rules state. But I am also aware of the fact that Enemy is pulling all the strings they have to escape from their punishment as we speak....... I am very sure that we will see them again in the coming legs. That would only strengthen my point....... The rules are NOT the SAME for EVERYONE....

Unfortunately, on the Millennium ....sorry, millennium circuit, there are teams with an incredible power over theirs and other's destiny. How comes that some teams can get other teams banned from the series based only on suspicion, how comes that big name teams escape deserved penalties, bend around rules, turn around refs decisions.....?

This is what motivated my original post. I know that you will understand, because UD and my team are on the same boat. We are, as you guys probably are also, sick and tired of being screwed over and over again, sick and tired of losing what we paid with hard sweat and money.

We almost made our mind (still have to finalize the decision)..... but it looks like we are leaving this boat and will be playing in another series. I wish you good luck for the rest of the season...... you guys will need it.

Buddha,

OK the floor was hella slippery, but unlike the rules and marshalling decisions, it was the same for everyone....;)

hmmmm, Nick

As I wrote earlier, our decision still has to be finalized... which means that this question of yours will have to remain unanswered...for now.
But does it really matter anyway?;)

Simple. All the heating, room and video means squat if you're on the floor with your head open. The fact that it's better than Portugal, and that it was there last year is no reason why it can't be raised as an issue. It was dangerous, plain and simple. I've picked up too many people from the floor to be convinced otherwise.
Not that I think it'll be the end of the series or the event by a long shot, it's just a point of criticism.

Jay...

Everyone can have their own opinion - especially you cuz I ain't big enough to stop ya :).

However (knew that one was coming right) when it comes to top notch players areas - I don't think that there is any way other than a huge tent on asphalt - to ensure the floors aren't slippery.

Carpeting is all over is expensive - even in between tables might cost too much - but the fact that they had it in the main "avenue" of the players area helped.

They probably should have had some more - but I didn't see anyone end up on their heads (not saying it didn't happen - I'm sure it did) but I might also guess that a lot of these people ended up horizontal because they tried running or changing directions too fast.

Personally I am a clusmy mutha.... and I managed it just fine, but I also took care not to do soemthing that would hurt...

Eurotrash, there's no problem with personal opinions but get your facts straight before you accuse people of things that arn't true and with "NO proofs"

Shockwave were already through with or without enemy and there is absolutley NO connection between Moose and Shock. Tigers didn't kick off to moose they just wanted to find out whether or not they would be playing the next day.

PLENTY of people reported the score fixing which was evedent to anyone with half a brain, as far as I can tell it was staff from a group who host a millennium event themselves.

Loyalty to Enemy is cool but do not drag other teams through the crap because they got busted.

Incedently I think Enemy are a good team and am sad that they got banned.

EUROTRASH LET ME TELL YOU AND EVERYBODY ELSE THAT PLAYS
IN THE SERIES IS THAT MOOSE IS NOT CONNECTED TO THE MAYHEM TIGERS (HE USED TO PLAY FOR THEM TWO YEARS AGO)
OR WITH SHOCKWAVE, JUST TO LET YOU KNOW THAT WHEN WE HAVE A PROBLEM WE (MAYHEM TIGERS ) FIND THE OTHER
ULTIMATE JUDGE ?????? AND TALK ABOUT ANY PROBLEMS.
MOOSE IS A VERY GOOD AND PERSONAL FRIEND OF MINE AND I KNOW THAT ANY DECESIONS THAT HE MAKES WILL BE TOTALLY
IMPARTIAL AND WITHIN THE LAWS OF THE GAME
EUROTRASH WHY WAS IT THAT THE TIGERS WAS WAITING AT THE FIELD FOR 45 MINS FOR THE GAME TO START AND THEN WE WHERE TOLD WHAT HAD HAPPENED AND AFTER GOING BACK TO THE SCORE BOARD WE THOUGHT THAT OUTKAST (DAVE STEWART
TEAM) HAD GONE THROUGH ASK DAVE AS I SAID WELL DONE TO HIM. AND YOU ARE STILL SAYING THAT WE COMPLAINED, SO BEFORE YOU WRITE PLEASE HAVE THE FACTS RIGHT,WE THE MAYHEM TIGERS AND SHOCKWAVE WHO WAS THROUGH ANYWAY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. WE ARE JUST ACTORS IN THE PLAY NOT DIRECTORS, THANK YOU
